My death causes ripples in the water,
Disrupting loved ones lives,
It reaches out to all I know.
My life caused joy,
And now my death promotes pain,
But through this pain I live again.
Reborn through the mind and memories of those I know,
I teach again.
Lessons of life and love,
My most important lessons have just begun.
The words of wisdom that I spoke,
Ring out in the memories of all my children.
All whom I love cry in pain,
And the cruel process begins.
They will lift me high to the gates of heaven.
My good prevails throughout the days.
Now immortal I look down smiling,
Their thoughts come out through paper and pen,
And I am proud for what I have become.

In Loving Memory of Mr. Ryan Lancaster
